A complete energy monitoring and control system was designed and implemented for a high 9's computer centre where power reliability is of uppermost concern. This system is composed of 50+ meters, 10 RTUs and an Ethernet Communication backbone. As part of this project a remote viewing capability was incorporated along with an automatic alarm callout system. This will eventually link all Alberta Telus operations, which install the necessary hardware.

As a point of interest this project included integration of Multilin motor protection relay information into the power measurement software. In addition gas and water consumption were brought into the "screens" for a complete analysis of the plants utility use and costs versus production. Again, after completion of the project training and follow-up were part of the ongoing service.
